Description
This is an illustration that was commissioned by Imagine FX magazine, by Future Publishing. Since the magazine focuses on fantasy and sci fi art, I took the opportunity to include both a dragon, and a mana cyborg, which generates spells by dancing to the sound of magic.I used exclusively Zbrush in creating this one, and it was presented in the magazine in the form of a step by step tutorial. The hardest part in creating this image was that I had to use just the simplest tools, since it was intended as a beginner to intermediate workshop. Also, I had to keep recording my process in Zscripts, which were included in the DVD of the magazine. That part was a pain, because all of my mistakes and trials were also recorded in the process and then had to be redone.
In the end, I think I learned a great deal by creating this image, affirming that I am my best student.

The whole image is kinda hard to 'read' but I
think that adds to the impact.
Well done!
